4th of July Sparks

This is the index page for the 4th of July mystery. Here you will find all the parts of the mystery and  some general information.

Just to make it easier for those who have yet to start or for those who are making a larger quilt after all I have made a PDF of each block. so you print it out a block at a time - only the main block needs a few extra sections printed: 2 A sections per block as they didn't fit the page but were spread over 2 pages  (an EQ thing I'm afraid)

Main block Side block  Corner block

I'll be leaving this pattern up till the end of the month. After that, to help pay for this site, I will be offering a shorter PDF version for a small fee.

General information:

- This is the pattern for a quilt in many sizes:
king:
114" square  with the borders I suggest
Queen: 97" square with the borders i suggest
Twin:  63" x  97" with the borders i suggest
XL lap63" X 80"with the borders I suggest
Large Crib quilt: 63" square with the borders I suggest
Wall hanging (or small crib): 46" square with the borders i suggest
long table runner: 63" x 29"
short table runner: 46" x 29"
placemat: 20" x 23"

- The first step will be given on Friday 29nd June before 2 PM Central European time so that means that the girls in NZ and Australia start on their Saturday

- I will be giving one step a day during the mystery.

- All steps will be ladded to the website as soon as it’s time for the next step.

- Each step is, where neccesary, divided into subsections so you can focus on one bit at a time and not get confused – this is what makes it possible for me to give one step every day.

- Each subsection is on a separate page as well to avoid confusion.

- Please mark all finished blocks as instructed so you will be able to put the quilt together quickly and easily later.

- All seams are ¼” please try to be as accurate as you can!

This is NOT a race! Just do what you can and don’t worry if you "fall behind"!
